Officer verbally warned the females that the parks were closed and that it was past curfew. It should be noted that the City ordinance states, "It is unlawful for any minor to be or remain upon any of the alleys, streets or public places or to be in places of business and amusement in the City between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the following day".
Officer returned to the area of Watson Park and observed that female juvenile and the other females had not departed the park. Sgt and officer again advised them that they needed leave, the parks were closed, and that it was past curfew. Sgt asked female juvenile if her mother knew where she was, and she stated, "yes." Sgt advised female juvenile that officers would meet her at her house and speak with her mother.
Mother was advised that female juvenile would be cited for breaking the curfew ordinance.
Officer cited female juvenile and released her to her mother.
Officers were dispatched to Casey’s General Store for a male refusing to leave.
Male was transported to the hospital.
Male was cited for trespass and interfere with official acts.
