Iowa Administrative Code - Minimum Standards for Iowa Law Enforcement Officers
- All applicants not currently Iowa certified are required to successfully complete the department’s physical agility testing as part of the hiring process. Candidates must pass this test prior to receiving a conditional offer of employment and again prior to the start of the academy, in accordance with state standards.
